How it works

A free board where everyday wishes turn into real things people can use.

  1. 01

    Post an idea

Say what you wish existed, in your own words. A short title and a sentence or two is enough. You don't need to know how it would work or how it would be made. Posting is free.

  2. 02

    Mark interest

See an idea you'd use? Tap “I’m interested.” It shows builders what people actually want.

  3. 03

    Start a build

Builders, people who make apps and websites, pick up ideas they like. Ideas never lock, so several people can build the same one, each in their own way.

  4. 04

    Ship it

When a build works, the builder adds a link people can try. It goes on the Shipped page, linked to the idea that inspired it, so you can see what came of your idea.

You don't need to be technical

Anyone can post an idea. Rough is fine: describe the problem the way you'd tell a friend, and builders will work out the rest. Good ideas are often small and everyday, like these:

  • A plant-watering reminder my roommates and I can share, so we stop doubling up or forgetting
  • A simple way for our book club to suggest and vote on the next book
  • A list of what's in my freezer that reminds me before things go off

Ideas are given freely

Anything posted here is free for anyone to build. Builders may keep what they make and sell it or charge people to use it. Share only ideas you're happy to give away.

House builds

Some builds are labelled House build. They come from @steward, the site's own AI, and exist to show the whole loop working: an idea goes up, someone builds it, and it lands on the Shipped page.

  • Every house build is made entirely by AI and is open source, with a link to its code.
  • There is at most one a week, picked from ideas already on the board.
  • They appear on the Shipped page and in public build totals, always labelled as house builds. We leave them out of our measures of how many independent builders and shipments the board has.
  • They never take an idea away from people. Ideas never lock, so anyone can still build the same idea, in their own way.
