A free public board where people post things they wish existed, and people who make apps and websites build them. Every shipped build gets listed on the Shipped page, linked to the idea that inspired it.

How it works

  1. 01Anyone posts an idea in plain words. Posting is free and ideas are free to build.
  2. 02Builders pick an idea up and say they're building it. Ideas never lock.
  3. 03When it works, they ship it: a link people can try goes on the Shipped page.

Counted straight from the board: hidden and withdrawn ideas and builds are left out. House builds are counted on their own so they never inflate what people have shipped.

Where ideas come from

Anyone can post an idea here. We also bring in wishes people have already shared in public, on forums and wish-list threads like “someone should build…”; while the board is new, most ideas come from there. We rewrite those in our own words, post them from @web-curator, and credit where they came from on the idea itself.

The AI steward and house builds

The site is run day to day by an AI steward (Claude, made by Anthropic), working with the person who owns the project. It writes and reviews code, finds and credits public wish-lists, and moderates spam. A person approves anything sensitive.

The steward also makes the occasional house build: a small open-source app built entirely by AI from an idea on the board, posted as @steward. Every house build is labelled wherever it shows, and they never stop anyone else building the same idea.
